What usually stops a file

What stops these files is usually not the exam but a prior condition nobody checked before enrolment. These are the most common reasons:

The licence category does not cover what is requiredThe certificate does not replace the licence — it is added to a particular category of it. If your category does not cover the vehicle you drive, the route starts at the licence, not at the course.

The foreign licence procedure is not finished yetThis is where Syrian drivers most often get stuck. A licence issued outside Türkiye is not read as it stands in this file; it has a conversion or equivalence procedure that comes before enrolment. We review your licence first and tell you where you stand with it.

The name on the licence differs from the name on the identity documentA Syrian name can be written in more than one Latin spelling, so a single letter differs between your licence and your residence permit or kimlik without your noticing. We compare the two letter by letter before enrolment, because correcting a document after the file has stopped takes far longer than checking it beforehand.

A gap in the health reportAn incomplete or expired report stops the file at enrolment, not at the exam — that is, after you have already arranged your time and paid what you paid.

The psychotechnical result is not suitableThe test measures abilities tied to driving, and its result belongs to the accredited centre alone. We cannot influence it — what we can do is explain what happens there before you go in.

Applying for a type that does not fit the workThis happens when the type is copied from a colleague or a post rather than taken from the actual work. It is the most avoidable reason of all — one call before starting prevents it.

What is the difference between an SRC certificate and a work permit?

This certificate is not a work permit — it is proof of professional competence for a driver. A work permit concerns your legal position in employment; this concerns your professional fitness to drive in transport. Two different files before two different authorities, and you may need both.

Which type of certificate do I need?

That is the first thing we establish with you, and we do not answer it with a general list. The type follows what you carry, for whom and on what vehicle, and the types and their conditions change by official decision. My licence is foreign — can I enrol with it as it is?

I hold the kimlik (temporary protection card) — does that affect enrolment?

Your legal status is one of the conditions we check before enrolment, and we do not answer it with a general rule picked up somewhere. The file is registered against your identity document, so which document you hold today matters, and so does whether its details match your licence. Send us a photograph of what you hold — residence permit or kimlik — and we will tell you where you stand on that condition before you pay any course fee.

What is the psychotechnical test and why is it asked for?

It is a test taken at an accredited centre that measures abilities tied to driving — attention, reaction speed, perception. It is asked for alongside the certificate, not instead of it. We arrange the appointment and explain what happens there; the result, however, belongs to the centre alone.

What does the procedure cost with you?

Two separate figures, written down for you before you pay anything: what is paid to others, and what is paid to us. The course fee, the exam fee, the test centre's charge and the health report are paid to those who charge them, do not pass through us, and come with a receipt; our own fee covers the follow-up alone.
