The site itself collects nothing

This site is static pages: there is no sign-up form, no user account, and no ads that follow you.

We use no tracking cookies and no analytics tools that tie your visit to your identity. That is why you do not see an “accept cookies” bar — there is simply nothing to accept.

A few things are stored in your own browser, on your device, and never reach us: your light or dark mode preference, your language choice, and the boxes you tick on a document list. Clearing your browser data removes them.

What actually reaches us

Data reaches us only when you contact us.

What you send on WhatsApp, email or by phone: your name, a description of your case, and any photos or documents you attach.
What the procedure needs: an ID or passport number, dates, addresses — depending on the procedure.
We do not ask for data the procedure does not need.

Why we use it

To complete the procedure you asked for, and nothing else.
To contact you about your file.
To meet what the Turkish authorities require when the application is filed.
We do not sell your data, do not use it for marketing, and do not send it to any third party other than the official authority handling your procedure.

Who sees it and how long it is kept

Only the person handling your file at the office sees it. It is shared with the official authority concerned (migration office, notary, consulate…) to the extent the procedure requires.

Retention period: not set yet — pending legal review. We do not write a period we have not verified.

Once the period is set and it ends, paper copies are destroyed and digital copies deleted. You can ask us to delete your data before that at any time.

Your rights

Under the Turkish personal data protection law (KVKK, article 11) you may request:

To learn whether your data is processed by us, and what it is.
To learn why it was processed and whether it was used for the stated purpose.
To have it corrected if it is incomplete or wrong.
To have it deleted or destroyed once the reason for keeping it has ended.
To object to a result produced by automated analysis, and to claim damages if harm occurred.

How to make the request

Send your request to info@isteshirni.com or come to the office. State your name and exactly what you are asking for.

Legal response period: not fixed here yet — pending legal review. We reply as soon as we can within working days.

If you are not satisfied with the reply, you may complain to the Personal Data Protection Authority (KVKK) in Türkiye.

Questions we get asked

How do I actually ask for my data to be deleted?

Write your request by email, or come to the office, and state your name and exactly what you want deleted. We first confirm the request comes from you by matching it against the conversation or the file we hold: deleting a person’s data because someone else asked is not protecting their right — it is breaking it.

Does deletion also cover what already reached the authority?

No. Once something has been filed with an official authority as part of your procedure it sits in that authority's records and follows its rules, not ours. We delete our copy; we cannot delete theirs — and anyone promising otherwise is promising what they do not hold.

Who sees my file inside the office?

The person handling your procedure, not everyone in the office. And we do not discuss your file with a third party — a relative, a friend, whoever pointed you to us — unless you ask us to.

The documents I sent on WhatsApp, where do they stay?

In that conversation: on your device and on the office device. Once the procedure is over you can delete them on your side, and ask us to delete our copy.
